Ada S Ortiz is a kindhearted woman from humble beginnings. She was born in Valencia, Venezuela. There she endured great struggles with her mother and sister. Eventually she made her way to the US looking for a better life.
It was her dream to write stories with warm and unique characters. She wanted to write wholesome bedtime stories that parents could share with their children. Like many she didn't believe in herself and gave up on her dream. But recently she's pushed herself out of her comfort zone in order to realize her vision. She's decided to bring her classic stories of kindness, morality and love to life for all to enjoy.
Ada hopes to inspire children to develop positive qualities and good interpersonal relationships in order to better the community.

Our Story
In November of 2006 Ada's friend had recently given birth to a healthy baby girl. Ada loved her surrogate niece immensely. One night, with her niece on her mind, she was inspired. She wanted to tell wonderful stories that would encourage her baby niece to be a good and moral person. Suddenly she found herself flowing with ideas and within 2 weeks she had written the rough drafts of three books. The three rough drafts gave birth to what is now known as "Gabby's Adventures".
"Gabby's Adventures" is a series of books highlighting childhood, social and emotional development. Follow Gabby, a young and rambunctious little girl, as she learns valuable life lessons. Watch as she seeks guidance from her mother, grandparents and others. See her struggle with difficult decisions and overcome obstacles. Enjoy the lively characters, loosely based on Ada's personal life.
